Setting your windows to have the same view
You can set your folder options to have all the windows you open to have the same view. This will save you time by setting all the folders at once.
- Go into the My Documents folder. This may be on your desktop or located in the Start menu options which you access through the Start button.
- Set the view you want for all your folders, be it Thumbnails, tiles, icons, list, or details.
- Click the Tools option in the menu bar and then click on Folder Options.
- In the Folder Options window, choose the View tab and then click the Apply to All Folders button.
- You will be prompted to confirm that you want to apply this change to all the folders. Click the Yes button to apply the changes.
- Click the OK button on the Folders Options window to close the window and you are done.
